PRIMARY COORDINATOR

Dear Parents,

Welcome back to school and also to the final term of the 2018 school year! We hope all students and their families had a relaxing spring break and are feeling refreshed and rejuvenated. Term 4 is going to be an exciting and busy term with various activities taking place across the school. Our first major event was the “Athletics Carnival and Fun Run” and we thank all the parents who volunteered to help out on that day. The next important event coming up is the Awards Night and Year 6 Graduation Ceremony on 19th November and we wish to see you all there.

Enrolments for 2019

We are now taking enrolments for next year’s Foundation students. If you have, or know of a child who will start school next year please come and enrol them through the office as soon as you can. Please spread the word with your friends and family if they too have a school age child ready to commence in 2019. If you are in contact with families of prospective students from year 1 to year 6, please ask them to contact the office and book in a school tour.

Enforcement of the School Uniform Policy

Students who are unable to wear the correct uniform at any time must bring an explanatory note from their parent(s)/guardian(s) to their class teacher at the beginning of the school day. This note should explain why the student could not wear the correct uniform. Students not in correct uniform and without a note on any school day may be excluded from an activity such as excursions or sport.

If there is no note, the following consequences will apply:

1st Warning – Parents will be informed through a formal letter if students are reprimanded for uniform offences.

If the student is still not in proper uniform (2nd warning) they will be given lunch time detention.

School office will inform parents to pick their child up from school if the uniform offence is repeated consistently (3rd warning).

Reminders :

Thanks for your continued support.

Regards,
Mrs. Tarbinder Pandher
